Hear What Teachers Say About Kind Frog!
See why teachers are choosing Kind Frog over frog dissection.

This was great! Students loved this activity. I think they really liked not having the ‘gross factor’. They had fun and EVERYONE wanted to participate.

Students were very engaged and interested. It was a super easy clean up as well. My students were actually relieved to hear that we would not dissect a once-living animal.

I am an animal lover, so this was not a hard decision for me. I want to teach students that there are other ways to learn that don’t involve hurting animals.
“My students really enjoyed the kind frogs! They liked how big the frog was and how they could clearly identify the internal organs of the frog. My students did not feel like they “missed” out on dissecting a “real” animal. The students also noted that they would prefer the kind frogs over a “real” animal.”
“The TeachKind Frog was the perfect specimen to learn anatomy and physiology with and it shows the students there are alternative ways to solve problems that are still effective and even better than old ways. Old ways can be so harmful on so many levels, emotional, environmental, spiritual and these new ways provide not only new insights but also help the students realize that they can have a difference in how this world and how animals and nature is treated. It’s empowering and educational and it still meets the educational ideas of anatomy and physiology even better than a real animal, which is so heartbreaking all around. Thank you for investing in this venture and for letting our school and students be a part of this new way of life for ALL! With Gratitude!”
“The experience was fantastic! The children were so appreciative that these were not real frogs. They did not want to dissect real frogs. We are so very appreciative of what [TeachKind Science has] provided as a replacement to real frogs. I think teachers and schools would absolutely use this long term. That’s another benefit, they can be used multiple times. My class enjoyed stitching them back up too.”
“From a practical standpoint I liked how easy the clean up of the Kind Frog was and how I did not have as many safety concerns as I would with a preserved frog. I even had my students use scissors for the dissection instead of scalpels for added safety measures. This allowed us to really relax and explore the frog’s anatomy without all that extra stuff to worry about. I was able to send a couple students home with a Kind Frog to dissect who knew they were going to be absent on dissection day, which of course would not be possible with a preserved frog. Additionally, I appreciated all the resources for students that came with the Kind Frog pilot program, we actually stretched this activity out for the week before our spring break and it was just what I needed to keep my students engaged and learning.”
“The [kind] frogs were a success this year. My students really enjoyed it. As a teacher I loved how I didn’t have to change our daily schedule. We normally change to a block schedule for two days. However, there is no need with the kind frogs because they can be saved and return to the next day. I also loved how the students could correctly identify the internal organs and parts of the frog.”
“Students were very engaged and interested. It was a super easy clean up as well.”
