Take Action for Cats!
Do you care about protecting cats? Would you do anything to keep them safe and happy? Then this is the page for you.
Every year, more than 19,000 cats are abused in U.S. laboratories. They’re just as deserving of fulfilling lives and loving homes as the feline companions who purr on our laps. Thousands of these cats are homeless animals who were betrayed by animal shelters and sold to labs.
Big cats, including lions and tigers, aren’t actors, spectacles to imprison and gawk at, or circus clowns. Yet thousands of them are forced to perform unnatural, confusing tricks under the threat of physical punishment; carted across the country in cramped, stuffy semitruck trailers; kept chained or caged in barren, filthy enclosures; and separated from their mothers to be used in abusive photo ops—all for the sake of human entertainment. Many of these animals even die of the abuse and neglect that they endure. In roadside zoos and outdated circuses, big cats are suffering.
