I’m writing to you about the lonely animals who are forced to live at the Pata Pinklao Department Store, where your company leases space. I urge you to reconsider your brand’s association with such a cruel place. PETA has documented inadequate conditions and the suffering of animals at Pata Zoo. These animals—including Kat, an orangutan imprisoned with little opportunity for mental stimulation or physical exercise, and Bua Noi, who’s been alone and behind bars since 1983—have been relegated to a concrete enclosure for life.
